American band JD and the Straight Shot have predicted that rock and roll will rise once again to take over the "wallpaper" pop currently ruling the charts.

The stars - who have played to some of the world's biggest crowds with rock n' roll icons The Eagles - believe that a change is coming in the music industry.

 

Mark Copely told Mirror Online: "Someone's got to be the rebel.

"It's funny - acoustic music and rock music is like it was in the 60s. It's rebellious again.
